Ever notice how there's not nearly enough written about working with deaf and hard of hearing clients in ABA? I'm on a mission to change that.

I'm putting together a collection of chapters focused specifically on ABA practice with deaf and hard of hearing populations. Think of it as the resource you wish existed when you first started working with this amazing community.

Who's this for? ABA practitioners, BCBAs, RBTs, and other human service professionals who work with deaf and/or hard of hearing clients.

Timeline:

• Proposal deadline: June 29, 2025
• Acceptance notification: mid-July 2025
• Final chapters due: end of August 2025
• Publication target: Winter 2025 or early 2026

Need inspiration? Think Functional Communication Training, Parent Training, etiological considerations, adapted assessments or interventions, case studies that made you go "aha!" – you get the idea.
